Study Club Format
An MiCD Study Club consists of a coordinator and from 6 (minimum) to 14 (maximum) members. The club coordinator is the leader of the club and takes responsibility for keeping attendance and necessary records of all club meetings. The coordinator is also responsible for awarding continuing education credits points based on the MiCD CPD system. MiCD CPD feedback surveys are a must to ensure quality of the teaching and learning activities of the clubs. Furthermore, topics of interest must be planned based on MiCD Care clinical domains ( Lifestyle Dentistry , Functional Health Dentistry, Aesthetic and Cosmetic dentistry and Practice Management).
The club coordinator and members are responsible to promote their club activities and MiCD Care philosophy in their local community via social media. By sharing their work among patients and colleagues in the locality, the team showcases themselves as a group of competent, compassionate, healthy and happy dentists in the society.
The responsibility of club coordinator transfers among members of the club in rotation every two years.
